The Bibliotheca Alexandrina (BA) and the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology (ASRT) are pleased to announce the launching of the second call of the Joint ASRT-BA Research Grants Program for Young Researchers.
The Bibliotheca Alexandrina (BA) mission is to be a center of excellence for the production and dissemination of knowledge, and to revive its past reputation as a destination for scholars from all around the world, and a center for scientific and intellectual debate. As one of the BA’s academic research centers, the Center for Special Studies and Programs (CSSP) recognizes the existence of a pool of untapped potential available in young researchers all over Egypt, the Arab region and Africa that needs support and guidance.
CSSP has recognized that the Academy of Scientific Research and Technology (ASRT) is a key player in supporting research and researchers, and that it has played an important role in building Science, Technology and Innovation (STI) capacities on the national level. Accordingly, CSSP approached ASRT to establish a partnership with ASRT to fund a Joint Research Grants Program for Young Researchers where the program is entirely funded by ASRT and managed/administered by CSSP.
